For my commitment to my academics and student well-being, in 2025, I was elected to be the Senior Prefect and Academic Prefect for my school. In my capacity I was continuously involved in organizing discussion groups wherein students would be able to report about any issues related to academic or non-academic matters. As a Senior Prefect I also took charge of working closely with house staff and other fellow prefects to organize student events that would maintain a positive and sense of belongingness in the boarding space. On the other hand, as an Academic Prefect I personally looked into organizing quizzes and study circles for students to have continuous engagement with their academic work outside of routine learning and classroom discussions.
It was in 2023, when, putting in my knowledge and skill set in magic and the Rubik’s cube, I founded the Rubik’s Cube and Magic Society at my school. The society has had an active response from the student community, who have shown excitement across sessions when the members learn new magic tricks and strategies to solve different levels of Rubik’s cube.
For my personal interest in mathematics, I applied and got selected for the Student Leader position in the Math Soc club at my school. Part of responsibilities have been to increase the outreach of the club, arrange student-focused doubt clarification sessions, and discuss with club members about different inter-school events. In my capacity I have also worked to improve the gender ratio of the club to bring in a 50-50 parity amongst male and female students.
To further serve my school community, I have also worked as a member of the Sustainability Committee at my school, responsible for organizing sustainable focused campaigns and a calendar of events to spread the action plan for such campaigns over an academic year.
For my consistent commitment to the sports, I was selected to lead the Under 14 Cricket team at my school. I took charge of keeping track of every team member’s progress, and consistently worked towards keeping the team morale and sportsmanship high amongst the members.
