Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to the space where innovation is demonstrated as bringing together technology and sustainability. I, Ishan Verma, a student of Wellington College, located in the United Kingdom, have a deep passion foe the sciences and for mathematics. Moreover, I aim to practice an interdisciplinary approach in my learning, and always keeps an eye out for the conversation that the field of STEM has with Economics through the latter’s macro and micro components. 

This has driven me towards undertaking personal research projects and social projects that bring together innovative technological breakthroughs and sustainability concerns. In addition to this, I have also been engrossed in identifying the possibilities that technology presents for efforts that address the concerns of People with Disabilities. 

Outside of my project and academic engagements, I have also had a long interest in becoming a proficient magician and public speaker, having honed my skills in clear communication, stage presence, and audience engagement. I am also an avid athlete with multiple years of training in basketball and cricket. I am also proud to serve as the captain of the Under 14 team and the vice captain of the Under 15 team at my school. Above all, I sincerely hope that my humble achievements across academics, social service, and co-curriculars keep motivating me as they have so far, to not only enrich myself as an individual, but to weave a more vibrant fabric of community and social service aroud me throughout life.
